The following items on our wish list are needed for the daily operations of the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network and all donated items and funds will go toward the mission of TMMSN of rescue and rehabilitation, research and education with regard to the marine mammals of the Texas Gulf Coast.

The following list contains some specific needs of our Network, but is by no means an exhaustive list or is meant to be restrictive in any way. The websites that the items are linked to serve as a convenient way for the public and supporters to view and order the specific item listed.

Finding a comfortable rust-free chair which is easy to clean and with adequate
height for overlooking the pool is not easy but we think we've found just the
thing. Need two, one for each volunteer working observation shifts.

Plastic Crowd Control Barriers (green)                                                         $246 ea.
With educational tours and media attention occasionally coinciding with
marine mammal rehabs, we need a convenient way to set up temporary
boundaries. These rust-free plastic barriers are perfect. Need 4 of these.

Our scales in Galveston and Corpus are in dire need of an upgrade. Knowing
an animal's weight is important for prescribing the right amount of medication
or nutrition, and for observing trends in overall health and rehab progress.
