It's official: The TMMSN mascot will be called "Gulfy"
The TMMSN participates in many educational and fund raising events in the community and we've had a dolphin mascot costume on our wish list for quite a while. Thanks to Lee Ann Doyle, a TMMSN volunteer helping out in the Galveston region, we now have a new dolphin mascot. Lee Ann generously donated the funds and purchased the costume, delivering it to Galveston for our last volunteer training day.
The names in the poll below are just a few that were submitted by the public and TMMSN volunteers recently.
Feel free to cast your vote below and name the Dolphin Mascot which will be used state wide to encourage education and raise awareness, funds, and public attention for the TMMSN and our cause.
The new TMMSN Mascot made its debut appearance this Spring at the recent fund-raising events at the Galveston Evia Spring Market and the Houston Zoo. Read more here.
